It’s been 5 months since my last return to Malaysia. The last trip was during the Chinese New Year where my mom cooked her expert dishes piled up like mountain for me. Did not have much opportunity to eat out then. This time back, I would not want to miss the chance to taste the authentic, delicious, mouth watering Melaka/Malaysian foods again. Too bad I forget to snap some of the foods due to I’m too greedy gobbling them down my stomach :p I did not have enough time to hunt down Melaka Char Kueh Tiau and White Sauce Wan Tan Mee. Both are my favorites :drool: Next trip back (October), I’m sure that I’ll not miss them

Bought second hand from a veteran photographer online for AED3200 (approx rm3000). It’s a 3 year old lens but it is in a mint condition. Guess the previous owner took great care of it He was also selling off his 28-70mm f/2.8 and 20-35mm f/2.8. No money left to grab them

Well, last couple of month have been a shopping spree for my DSLR, Nikon D90. Frens present me with a Phottix battery grip and I bought my self a new mid range fast lens (Tamron 28-75mm F2.8) and a flash gun (Nissin Di622).

Last 2 weeks’ weekend is a stay-at-home day. Nothing particular to do, I took out my D90 and snapped a few pics with it and attached all the new accessories to it. Tadaaaahhhhh!!!

How is the new look? ^^ Seems like some wanna be pro-DSLR “swt”
And with all the attachments on it, my camera weights 2kg on the weight scale (not really accurate, but it’s around there)!!!!! “swt swt swt”

I wonder how heavy it will get when I fix in a 80-200mm or 70-200mm lens? :p Lately been searching for a decent priced 80-200mm on the market. But they are well above rm2.8k. Or perhaps I should just buy the 70-200mm VR that cost 6k :p (Bibi will definitely kill me)

The rumored Demotivation course did not take place. But damage is still done. Though it was not officially said to us all, but 2 of my colleague was pre-talked by the old man.

Q1: Do you think you are overpaid? (ouch)

Q2: Are you ready? I dont think so you are ready (double ouch)

These are not questions. They are more like statements that the old man wants to implant into our heads. Demotivating. Crush your confidence so that you are easier to dispose off. Well mr. old man, I’ve got a word for you. That is “FUCK OFF”. If you think we are over paid, we are all over paid. Including you! If you think we are not ready and sitting here to wait for things to happen, that includes you! Do something to improve the situation please. Don’t come and trash everyone because you can’t fix what is needed.

Anyway… you know what, I don’t care. Do what you think is “correct” and so be it. I’m not gonna sulk over it.

I heard that this Saturday my company will organize a talk. Is it the rumored Course 3??? We will see what… Maybe it is time for me to go back to my mother country

Notice some blur at F16… shutter too slow at 1/30 -.- must maintain at least 1/60sec only decent pics can come out. Hmm…. the downside of non VR or IS lens :hmm:
