Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai
Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai - An interesting shopping mall with a multi country themed design. The name of the mall, Ibn Battuta refers to the famous Arabic explorer who travels to many countries for his pilgrimage. The mall is uniquely designed to celebrate the travels of the famous Arabic explorer. The mall is divided into 6 zones/countries, namely Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India and China. Each zones the exterior and interior design is built according to the country theme. E.g. in Egypt zone, you see a pyramid building from outside and when you enter the mall you can see all kinds of carving and mural like you are actually in the pyramid. Cool huh? I like Egypt and China. Very well done. This mall is a popular place for photography for visitors like me :p

End of the day, we took a cab back to Abu Dhabi for AED220! Crazy but it’s less tiring and saves 3 hours of journey. Felt kinda guilty but worth it :p
